The Redmi Note 11 is the easiest option, but it offers very decent hardware

xiaomi redmi note 11 features price design

How could it be different, the standard Redmi Note 11 is the cheapest option of the four phones presented. It does not have 5G connectivity (but it does have 4G), something that helps reduce the price a lot. However, it makes up for that small lack with a processor that performs very well in undemanding tasks such as the Snapdragon 860.

Another very good point is its screen, since Xiaomi equipped this device with an AMOLED panelFull HD + resolution and 90 Hz frequency. It seems little compared to a top-of-the-range screen, but it is very good to be the cheapest device in its family.

Something similar happens with the rear cameras, which arrive in a very decent lineup of 4 photographic sensors of 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP. Your battery? A monster of 5000 mAh and fast charging of 33 W so you never run out of power in the middle of the day.

Its design is quite standard, with a glossy monochrome back, relatively thin frames, a perforated screen and a camera module that is very close to what the company has been presenting in its latest releases. Anyway, a mobile with good hardware for the price it will have (at the end of the article you will know).

The Redmi Note 11S seems the most balanced option with its MediaTek chip and a 108 MP camera

xiaomi redmi note 11s specifications hardware price

Raising the bar a little you will find the Redmi Note 11S, which seems to be the option that offers the best hardware per euro invested. Why do we say it? Because Xiaomi equipped it with a Helio G96 that far exceeds the performance of the SD680 (340,000 vs 220,000 points in AnTuTu, respectively), although it still remains in the field of 4G networks.

The design also changes from this device to the next ones, going from a pretty regular look on the standard Redmi Note 11 to one with sides very similar to those of the latest iPhone on the 11S, 11 Pro and 11 Pro 5G. Does it suit you? No, the change feels great.

Besides, the main camera goes from 50 MP to 108 MP thanks to a Samsung HM2 sensor that guarantees you very good quality photos in almost any setting. Were there other changes? Only in the maximum amount of RAM, which goes up to 8 GB. For the rest, the screen is exactly the same as the standard Note 11, as well as the storage, the other cameras, battery, etc.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro raises its screen to 120 Hz frequency and adds 67 W fast charge

Xiaomi continues to take steps upwards and the next mobile presented was the Redmi Note 11 Pro. Once again there is still no trace of 5G connectivity, but it is normal if you take into account that it is a vitaminized Note 11S.

What things stay the same and what things improve? The ones that stay the same are the processor, the amount of storage and RAM, the battery capacity and the photographic sensors.

Meanwhile, what evolves is the screen and the fast charging system. On the first, Xiaomi repeats with an AMOLED panel and Full HD + resolution, but it is 6.67 “(larger) and has a 120Hz refresh rate. Regarding the second, the charging system goes from 33 W to no less than 67 W, a power that allows the Redmi Note 11 Pro to be charged to 50% in just 15 minutes.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G goes with everything to try to conquer the mid-range

Finally, there is the best mobile launched by Xiaomi for its Redmi Note 11 family, the Pro 5G. It’s the only one compatible with 5G networks and for this the manufacturer had to change the processor once again. The standard-bearer is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, an octa-core chip and Adreno 619 graphics that is manufactured in 6nm. How’s your performance going? An average of 395,000 points in AnTuTua record that is not bad at all.

Anything else that has changed? Interestingly, it is the only one of the four models presented that has only three rear cameras. This is bad? It doesn’t have to be, because Xiaomi can offer a better image processing via software on this device (it probably does). Also, more cameras does not mean better photographic performance. However, this mobile uses the same 108 MP main sensor, as well as the ultra wide angle and macro of the Redmi Note 11 Pro and 11S.

So for some people this may end up being a major step backwards. No other changes? Not relevant, because it is the same Redmi Note 11 Pro in terms of specifications.

Price and availability of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11

The new Redmi Note 11 will hit the global market in two pairs: the first will be the Redmi Note 11 and 11S, which will be available from January 28 through a special promotion on AliExpress; then the Redmi Note 11 Pro and 11 Pro 5G will arrive from February 16, also on promotion from AliExpress. Regarding prices, the value for the Spanish market is not yet known, but it is in dollars, so an equivalence could be made with the base versions of each model:

  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 11: Starting at $179 (about €158) for the 4GB + 64GB version.
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S: Starting at $249 (about €220) for the 6 GB + 64 GB version.
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro: Starting at $299 (about €265) for the 6 GB + 64 GB version.
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G: Starting at $329 (about €291) for the 6 GB + 64 GB version.
