Mobvoi It is being one of the great protagonists in the smart watch market. In the middle of last January, the manufacturer showed us the TicWatch GTH, a very cheap device that sought to stand up to the Amazfit family of watches. And now it is the turn of the TicWatch Pro Sthe manufacturer’s new flagship, although with a series of chiaroscuros that are worth noting.
More than anything, and as you will see later, because this TicWatch Pro S disappoints due to some technical details that are surprising in a 2021 smartwatch. But first, let’s see what this new wearable is like.

But where it surprises, and for worse, is in the chosen processor. Mainly because the firm has decided to bet on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 supported on 1 GB of RAM. We are talking about a SoC that was presented in February 2016, so its use is surprising when there are more recent models.
The truth is that, with the power required by the applications available in Wear OSIn addition to the operating system itself, this processor will be more than enough to offer good performance and an experience that lives up to expectations. The truth is that the fact that it bets on a 2016 processor means that it does not start off on the right foot. But its hardware in general will be more than enough to offer a good user experience, and its double screen to increase autonomy is a detail to take into account.
